OurStoria is a video and photo delivery platform designed for professional wedding videographers and photographers. Instead of sending clients a generic cloud link, you deliver their wedding memories through a beautiful, branded gallery page — with your logo, custom colors, and a custom URL.
Your clients get an elegant, shareable page they can send to all their guests. You get full analytics, branding control, and the peace of mind that everything is delivered in its original quality with no bandwidth surprises.
From your Dashboard, click New Project. Fill in the couple's names, wedding date, and optionally assign them to a client in your CRM. Once the project is created, you can upload videos and photos, customize branding, write a personal message, and configure the gallery link — all from the project page.
The Free Pro Trial lasts 7 days and unlocks every Pro Plan feature: custom URL slugs, password-protected galleries, all 12 gallery layouts, custom fonts, embed iframe, social links, custom copyright and Live Moments. Storage includes 20 GB of video and 1 GB of photos. You can fully explore the platform — upload content, customize branding, and share gallery links with real clients.
The only differences vs. a paid plan are: a small "Trial Period" watermark on video playback, client downloads are disabled, up to 3 simultaneous projects with up to 3 videos each, and analytics is unlocked starting from the Starter plan. Upgrading to any paid plan removes the watermark and download lock immediately.
What happens after 7 days? If you don't upgrade, non-archived projects are permanently deleted 2 days after the trial ends. Custom URL slugs are released back to the pool 24 hours after expiry. Upgrade any time during the grace period to keep everything you set up.
Videos: MP4 (H.264) format only, up to 100 GB per file. This is the standard export format from DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and most professional editing software. Videos are never re-encoded or compressed.
Photos: JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Project photos can be up to 10 MB each; photos uploaded directly to your portfolio page can be up to 5 MB each.
After uploading, each video goes through a quick optimization step that enables instant in-browser streaming. This typically takes a few minutes depending on file size — it's not a re-encode, just a structural adjustment, so even large files process quickly.
On your dashboard the video shows as "Processing…" until ready. You can share the gallery link with clients before processing is complete — they'll see a friendly placeholder message until the video is available.
Every project gets a public gallery URL. On the Free Pro Trial, Pro, and Studio plans, you can set a fully custom, human-readable slug like ourstoria.app/v/john-and-jane-wedding. On Starter, a system-generated UUID link is used. (If you set a custom slug during the Free Pro Trial and don't upgrade, the slug is released back to the pool 24 hours after the trial ends.)
Clients see a beautifully designed page with your logo, branding colors, a personal message from you, all the wedding videos, and a photo gallery. The page works seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Yes — all 12 gallery layouts are available on the Free Pro Trial, Pro, and Studio plans. (Starter is limited to the Classic layout.)
- Classic — Centered design with the main video, a video grid below, and a photo masonry gallery section. Clean and timeless.
- Sidebar — Main video with a scrollable playlist sidebar, plus a Film/Photos tab switcher so clients can easily switch between content types.
- Cinematic — Fullscreen immersive video experience with an overlay header and a full-width photo masonry grid below. Keyboard navigation supported.
- Signature — Refined split-screen hero with soft typography.
- Estate — Grand, editorial feel with generous white-space.
- Atrium — Vertical card-based flow with a gallery-museum feel.
- Promenade — Horizontal scroll sections for a walk-through experience.
- Filmstrip — Cinematic horizontal filmstrip with perforated edges.
- Editorial — Magazine-inspired layout with parallax hero and bold headings.

- Kinetic — Motion-forward layout with animated transitions.
Yes — on all plans, including the Free Pro Trial. In Project Settings, find the Password Protection section, set any password (minimum 4 characters), and the gallery will require visitors to enter it before accessing any content — including videos, photos, and downloads.
You can change or remove the password at any time. Once a visitor unlocks the gallery, the session remains open for the rest of that browser session.
Yes — on the Free Pro Trial, Pro, and Studio plans. Each project has an Embed tab in your dashboard that generates an iframe code snippet you can paste into any website or page builder. Four embed layout variants are available (Classic Compact, Classic Full, Sidebar, and Cinematic). Password-protected galleries work inside iframes as well. Starter does not include the embed iframe.
Absolutely — every gallery has a Share button. On mobile it opens the native share sheet; on desktop it copies the link to clipboard. Shares are tracked in your analytics dashboard so you can see how widely each gallery is being spread.
Yes — on all paid plans, clients can download individual video files in their original quality, and download all photos at once as a ZIP archive. A unified download modal on the gallery page makes this easy. Downloads are disabled on Free Pro Trial galleries — they unlock automatically the moment you upgrade to any paid plan.
After your subscription expires, galleries remain accessible to clients for a 7-day grace period. If not renewed within 7 days, gallery pages go offline and all project data is permanently deleted.
For completed deliveries you want to preserve, consider using Safe Archive before your subscription ends — archived projects remain accessible independently of your main subscription.
No. OurStoria delivers your original MP4 files exactly as you exported them — no re-encoding, no compression, no quality loss. The only processing that happens is a small structural optimization (fast start) so videos begin playing instantly in a browser without buffering. Your clients always download the exact file you uploaded.
The limit depends on your plan: 3 videos per project on the Free Pro Trial, 5 on Starter, 10 on Pro, and 15 on Studio. You can upload a highlight reel, full ceremony, reception, speeches, and more — all appearing on the same gallery page. You can also hide individual videos from clients without deleting them.
OurStoria uses a chunked upload system, so large files survive network interruptions. If your upload stalls, try refreshing the page and re-selecting the same file — the system will detect the previous session and offer to resume where it stopped (within a 24-hour window).
If a video remains stuck in "Uploading" status without progress after trying to resume, contact our support team and we can resolve it directly.
In each video's settings you have two options:
- Auto-generate — Automatically extracts a frame from the 5-second mark of the video.
- Upload custom — Upload any JPEG, PNG, or WebP image up to 2 MB.
The thumbnail appears as the video poster image in the gallery before a visitor presses play.
Yes — photos are a first-class content type in OurStoria, fully equal to videos. Every project has a Photos tab where you can upload, reorder, and manage photos that appear alongside the videos in the same branded gallery page. Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, and WebP, up to 10 MB per file.
Photos are displayed in an elegant masonry grid on the gallery page — below the video section in the Classic and Cinematic layouts, or in a dedicated Photos tab in the Sidebar layout. Clients can click any photo to open a fullscreen slideshow with smooth transitions, auto-advance every 5 seconds, keyboard navigation, and a photo counter.
Yes. The gallery includes a Download button that opens a modal listing all videos and a "Download All Photos" button. Clicking it generates a ZIP archive of all project photos in the background — the first time it may take a moment, but subsequent downloads are instant since the ZIP is cached.
Yes. In your project's Photos tab in the dashboard, you can drag and drop photos to rearrange them. The order you set is exactly how they appear in the client gallery and slideshow.
Each plan includes separate photo storage: 1 GB on the Free Pro Trial, 10 GB on Starter, 50 GB on Pro, and 200 GB on Studio. Photo and video storage are tracked independently — using photos doesn't eat into your video quota.
Photos in archived projects don't count toward your active quota. Portfolio-only photos (uploaded directly to your portfolio page, not tied to any client project) also don't count against any storage limit.
Live Moments turns any printed QR code into a private, time-limited upload page for wedding guests. Instead of chasing everyone on WhatsApp after the event, guests scan the QR, pick photos or short videos on their phone, and everything lands directly in the project's Live Moments session — styled with the couple's names and your studio logo.
No app, no login, no public hashtag. You stay in full control: time window, storage quota, moderation, and an optional PIN gate.
Open a project in your dashboard and click the Live Moments tab. The first time you open it, you'll be asked to accept the Live Moments Terms of Service (this is a one-time step, stored per account). After that you can:
- Toggle the session on or off at any time.
- Pick the wedding's timezone from a dropdown of cities.
- Set the upload window (start / end date and time).
- Choose a storage quota (500 MB up to 30 GB per session).
- Decide whether photos, videos, or both are accepted.
- Pick a moderation mode: Instant or Hold for Review.
- Optionally set a 4–12 digit PIN for extra privacy.
When enabled, you get a public URL on live.ourstoria.app and ready-to-print PDFs (A4 poster, 5×7 table card, and folded tent card), plus PNG and SVG versions of the QR.
Live Moments is included with every plan — including the Free Pro Trial, Starter, Pro, and Studio. On the Free Pro Trial, Starter, and Pro, guests can upload photos. On Studio, guests can upload both photos and short videos. There is no separate purchase and no per-wedding fee.
You can switch Live Moments on for a real wedding during the Free Pro Trial — it's the same engine you'll use on any paid plan.
Photos: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, or WebP — up to 25 MB per file. HEIC shots from iPhones are accepted as-is and we decode them on the guest's device for a clean preview.
Videos (Studio only): MP4 or MOV — up to 500 MB per file and 60 seconds long. Shorter, phone-grabbed clips — the kind guests actually shoot — not full ceremony recordings.
Each session has a configurable total quota (500 MB → 30 GB). Once the quota is full, the upload page tells new guests the session is closed until you free up space.
No. Guests scan the QR with their phone camera and land directly on a mobile-friendly upload page — no install, no registration, not even an email. They optionally type a display name (so you can see who sent what), pick files, and tap Upload.
Everything is uploaded straight from the phone to secure cloud storage. A per-session cookie remembers the display name on the same device so returning guests don't have to retype it.
Two modes are available, and you can switch at any time from the dashboard:
- Instant — uploads appear immediately in the guest gallery. Best for friendly, family-only weddings.
- Hold for Review — each upload is hidden until you approve it. Recommended for private events or when you don't fully know the guest list.
You can delete any upload at any time; deleted files are scheduled for permanent removal within 30 days and their storage is freed immediately.
You pick the wedding's timezone from a dropdown of cities (e.g., Europe/Kyiv, America/Los Angeles). The Starts at and Ends at fields are then interpreted in that local clock — type 18:00 and guests will be able to upload starting at 18:00 local wedding time, no matter where the guest or the server is.
Behind the scenes we store everything in UTC and adjust for daylight-saving changes automatically. The form also shows a "In your browser time" hint so you can sanity-check the window against your own clock.
Yes. Guest uploads count toward the same plan storage that covers your videos and photos. Each Live Moments session has its own hard quota cap (500 MB → 30 GB) on top of that, so a single chatty wedding can't eat your whole plan's space.
You'll receive email alerts at 70%, 85%, 95%, and 100% of the session quota so there are no surprises on the wedding weekend.
The public page automatically switches to a friendly "The upload window has closed" message — no new uploads are accepted. Within a few minutes we package every approved upload into a single ZIP archive (photos and videos in tidy folders, named after uploader + sequence number) and send you an email when it's ready.
You can download the archive from the project's Live Moments tab in your dashboard. If late photos come in (e.g., you reopen the window briefly), click Regenerate archive and we rebuild it.
That's exactly what it's for. From the Live Moments tab you can download three ready-to-print PDF layouts — A4 poster (guest-book table or wall), 5×7 card (portrait, fits a stack on the bar), and folded tent card (A5 landscape, double-sided for round tables). There's also a transparent PNG and a vector SVG of the QR if your designer wants to include it in a custom layout.
The QR URL stays the same even if you later change the couple's public gallery slug, so a printed QR keeps working for the whole wedding weekend.
When you enable Live Moments you act as the Event Host. Under GDPR you are the data controller for content uploaded by your guests; OurStoria is the data processor. In practical terms that means:
- Before printing the QR, either obtain individual guest consent or post a visible notice at the venue stating that photos and videos are being collected digitally.
- You are legally responsible for the content guests upload — copyright, privacy, conduct.
- Prohibited content (CSAM, adult content, copyrighted music videos, harassment, malware) triggers immediate session suspension and may lead to permanent account termination without refund.
- You should review uploads within a reasonable timeframe and remove anything inappropriate.
See the full Live Moments section of the Terms of Service for the complete wording.
You can delete any individual upload from the Live Moments tab of the project — deletion is permanent within 30 days. If a guest contacts you directly asking for their content to be removed, you're expected to honour that request promptly, consistent with your role as the data controller.
If a guest cannot reach you, they can email [email protected] and we will act as the processor to help locate and delete their upload. Illegal or abusive content should be reported to [email protected].
Available on Starter and above, the Brand Settings let you fully customize how your gallery pages look:
- Logo & favicon — Your studio's logo and browser tab icon
- Typography — Choose from 34 curated, elegant fonts (Pro & Studio) or use the default Playfair Display (Starter)
- Color palette — Background, text, and accent colors
- Button style — Modern rounded or classic sharp corners
- Social links — Instagram, Telegram, and website (Pro & Studio only)
- Custom copyright — Replace "OurStoria" with your studio name in gallery footers (Pro & Studio only)
Yes. Your Brand Settings define global defaults applied to all projects. But each individual project can override these with its own font and color palette — useful for matching a specific wedding's aesthetic or a client's request. The hierarchy is: Project branding → Your Brand Settings → Platform defaults.
Yes. In each project's settings, you can add a personal message — a note to the couple, a thank-you, or any text you'd like. The message section title and background color are also customizable to match your branding. This is available on all plans, including the Free Pro Trial.
Safe Archive is an annual add-on that keeps a completed wedding project accessible to clients long-term — at a fraction of your main subscription cost. It's designed for projects you've fully delivered: your active plan covers current work, while Safe Archive keeps older galleries alive so couples can re-download their files on anniversaries.
Archived projects don't count toward your storage quota, so archiving old deliveries frees up space for new ones. Available on Starter, Pro, and Studio plans.
Safe Archive is priced per project, per year, with two tiers:
- Standard — $12/year · projects up to 30 GB
- Plus — $19/year · projects up to 60 GB
The tier is automatically selected based on your project's size. Projects over 60 GB cannot be archived.
Archived galleries remain accessible at the same link. Clients can download original video and photo files. Note that in-browser video streaming is not available in archive mode — the gallery switches to a download-focused view. The page remains fully branded with your logo and colors.
When a Safe Archive expires, you have a 14-day grace period to extend it. You'll receive reminder emails 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry. If not renewed within the grace period, the project and all its files are permanently deleted with no recovery possible.
Yes, you can unarchive a project at any time — as long as you have enough active storage available. Since archived projects don't count toward your quota, returning a large project to active may require upgrading your plan or deleting other content first.
Every account starts with a 7-day Free Pro Trial (every Pro Plan feature unlocked, 20 GB video / 1 GB photo, no card required). After the trial, three paid plans are available:
- Starter — $14.99/month (or $149.99/year) · 200 GB video + 10 GB photo storage
- Pro — $24.99/month (or $249.99/year) · 450 GB video + 50 GB photo storage
- Studio — $59.99/month (or $599.99/year) · 1.5 TB video + 200 GB photo storage
Annual billing saves approximately 17% compared to paying monthly.
Beyond storage, the key differences by plan (Free Pro Trial / Starter / Pro / Studio):

No. There are zero bandwidth charges, ever. Your subscription is entirely all-inclusive — clients can stream videos and download files as many times as they like with no additional costs to you.
When your storage is full, new uploads are blocked until space becomes available. You can free up space by archiving completed projects (archived files don't count against your active quota), deleting files you no longer need, or upgrading to a higher plan. Your current usage is always visible on the Dashboard.
Your Portfolio is a public page at ourstoria.app/your-name where you can showcase your best wedding films and photos to prospective clients. Unlike client galleries (private to each couple), the portfolio is openly accessible — ideal for sharing in your Instagram bio, on your website, or with new enquiries.
The portfolio is available on all plans, including the Free Pro Trial.
Yes. Your portfolio supports both videos and photos. If you have both, visitors see Films and Photos tabs. If you only have one type, it's shown directly without tabs.
Portfolio videos are selected from your existing project videos (up to 15). Portfolio photos are uploaded separately — directly to your portfolio, not tied to any client project — with a max of 50 photos at 5 MB each. These photos don't count against your storage quota.
Go to Portfolio Settings in your dashboard. From there you can: set your custom URL slug, toggle the portfolio between Public and Hidden, select which of your videos to feature, upload portfolio-specific photos, and reorder everything with drag-and-drop.
Yes. Your portfolio uses your global brand settings — logo, colors, and fonts. On the Free Pro Trial, Pro, and Studio plans, your social links and custom copyright text appear in the footer. On Starter, the footer shows "Delivered by OurStoria."
The Clients section is a built-in CRM for managing your couple relationships. Add clients with their names, email, and wedding date, then link their projects directly to the client profile. You can track each relationship through five statuses: Upcoming, Active, Editing, Delivered, and Archived — all set manually by you.
The dashboard also highlights upcoming wedding anniversaries so you can reach out to past clients at meaningful moments.
All paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Studio) include full analytics:
- Total gallery views, video plays, downloads, and shares
- Average watch time and completion rate
- Device breakdown (mobile vs. desktop)
- Views over time (week, month, year, or all time)
- Per-project analytics with a recent activity feed
Analytics are not available during the Free Pro Trial — they're unlocked the moment you upgrade to any paid plan.
You can delete any project from its settings page. Deleted projects enter a 3-day grace period during which recovery is possible. After 3 days, the project and all its video and photo files are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
If you want to keep the files long-term but free up your active storage, use Safe Archive instead of deleting.
