1. Service Description
OurStoria provides a professional video hosting and delivery platform specifically designed for wedding videographers. Our service enables you to:
- Upload and host wedding videos in original 4K quality
- Create custom branded galleries for your clients
- Access analytics and viewer insights
- Generate public portfolio pages
- Utilize automated CRM features
2. Account Registration & Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use OurStoria.
2.2. You must provide accurate and complete registration information, including a valid email address.
2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2.4. One person or entity may not maintain multiple Free Pro Trial accounts.
3. Content Ownership & Rights
3.1. Your Content Remains Yours
- You retain all ownership rights to the videos and content you upload to OurStoria.
- We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide.
3.2. License to OurStoria
- By uploading content, you grant OurStoria a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
- This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.
3.3. Your Responsibilities
- You must own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper licenses, releases, and permissions from clients and subjects appearing in your videos.
- You must not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
4.1. Available Plans
- Starter Plan: $14.99/month (200GB video storage + 10GB photo storage)
- Pro Plan: $24.99/month (450GB video storage + 50GB photo storage)
- Studio Plan: $59.99/month (1.5TB video storage + 200GB photo storage)
- Annual billing options available at discounted rates
4.2. Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), our Merchant of Record and authorized payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
4.3. Billing Cycle
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
4.4. Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.
4.5. Taxes
Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes.
5. Free Pro Trial Period
5.1. New users receive a 7-day Free Pro Trial that unlocks every Pro Plan feature, with 20 GB of video storage and 1 GB of photo storage. No credit card is required to start.
5.2. Trial limitations vs. paid plans:
- Semi-transparent "Trial Period" watermark on video player
- "Download Original" button is disabled for clients
- Limited to 3 simultaneous projects with up to 3 videos each
- Safe Archive and the analytics dashboard are not included during the trial
- Limited to one Free Pro Trial per user / payment method
5.3. End of the Trial. Because no payment method is required to start the Free Pro Trial, no automatic conversion to a paid subscription occurs. To continue using OurStoria after the trial, you must actively choose and pay for a plan (Starter, Pro, or Studio). If you do not subscribe, watermarks, download locks and the trial quotas remain in place and uploads are blocked once the trial expires.
5.4. Post-Trial Data Retention. If you do not subscribe within 2 days after the trial ends, all non-archived projects (videos and photos) are permanently deleted. Custom URL slugs you set during the trial are released back to the public pool 24 hours after the trial ends. We recommend exporting any content you want to keep before the grace period ends.
6. Safe Archive Service
6.1. Archive Pricing: Standard $12.00/year (up to 30GB), Plus $19.00/year (up to 60GB) per project.
6.2. Archive Features:
- Video player is disabled
- Direct download link remains active for clients
- Project does not count toward your subscription storage quota
- Archived projects can be reactivated instantly (if storage space available)
6.3. Archive Duration: Minimum 1 year, auto-renews annually unless cancelled.
6A. Live Moments & Guest Content
Live Moments is an optional feature that allows wedding guests to upload photos and short videos to your project through a printed QR code. Because this content is supplied by third parties (your guests), additional responsibilities apply. By enabling Live Moments for a project you confirm that you have read and agree to this section in addition to the general Terms above.
6A.1. Event Host role. You are the "Event Host" for any Live Moments session you create. You act as the data controller for all content uploaded by your guests; OurStoria acts as the data processor within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
6A.2. Guest consent. You represent and warrant that, before printing or distributing the Live Moments QR code, you will either (a) obtain individual consent from guests who are photographed or filmed, or (b) post a clearly visible notice at the venue informing guests that photos and videos are being collected digitally. You are solely responsible for complying with local privacy and image-rights laws at your event location.
6A.3. Responsibility for guest uploads. Although guests upload directly, all content submitted through your session is considered part of your project. You are legally responsible for the lawfulness of that content, including copyright, privacy, defamation, and conduct. OurStoria does not pre-review guest uploads.
6A.4. Prohibited content. The following content is strictly forbidden anywhere in a Live Moments session and will trigger immediate session suspension and may lead to permanent account termination without refund:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors
- Explicit, pornographic, or adult sexual content
- Unauthorised copyrighted material such as commercial music videos, films, or TV broadcasts
- Harassment, hate speech, violent threats, or content intended to cause harm
- Malware, phishing attempts, or content that endangers user security
6A.5. Moderation modes. Two moderation modes are available — Instant (uploads appear in the guest gallery immediately) and Hold for Review (uploads are pending until you approve them). For private or family events we strongly recommend Hold for Review. Regardless of mode, you are expected to review uploaded content within a reasonable timeframe and remove anything inappropriate.
6A.6. Storage & quota. Guest uploads count toward the storage quota associated with your subscription plan. You may change the per-session quota, delete individual uploads, or delete the entire session at any time from the dashboard.
6A.7. Retention & deletion. When you delete a session or individual uploads, the underlying files are scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days. Guests are informed on the upload page that content is moderated by the Event Host and may be removed at your discretion.
6A.8. Archive. After the collection window closes, OurStoria generates a ZIP archive of all approved guest uploads that you can download from the dashboard. The archive is stored in your project's storage and is subject to the same retention rules as other content in your account.
6A.9. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OurStoria, its affiliates, and their respective officers and employees against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (i) missing guest consent, (ii) prohibited content uploaded during your session, or (iii) guest behaviour during your event.
6A.10. Changes to this section. We may update this Live Moments section with at least 30 days' notice sent by email. Continued use of the feature after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Storage & Usage Limits
7.1. Storage limits are based on your subscription tier.
7.2. If you exceed your storage limit:
- You will be notified via email
- You must either delete content, archive projects, or upgrade your plan
- New uploads may be blocked until compliance is restored
7.3. Bandwidth and streaming are unlimited on all plans.
8. Account Suspension & Data Retention
8.1. Non-Payment Policy:
Day 1 (Payment Failed):
- All galleries are suspended immediately
- Clients see: "This gallery is temporarily unavailable. Please contact the videographer."
- You receive email notification with payment link
Days 1-30 (Grace Period):
- All content remains stored on our servers
- Service can be restored immediately upon payment
- Multiple payment reminder emails are sent
Day 31 (Permanent Deletion):
- All content is permanently deleted from our servers
- Deletion is irreversible
- Projects in paid "Safe Archive" status are exempt from deletion
8.2. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
9. Service Availability & Support
9.1. We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9.2. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
9.3. Support is provided via email and in-app messaging during business hours.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use OurStoria to:
- Upload illegal, defamatory, or infringing content
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to breach or circumvent security measures
- Resell or redistribute our service without authorization
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
11. Termination
11.1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Abuse of the refund policy or repeated refund requests
- Suspected fraudulent activity or unauthorized chargebacks
- Conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the platform, other users, or our business operations
11.2. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
11.3. Upon termination:
- Your access to the platform will cease immediately
- Your content will be deleted according to our data retention policy
- No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods (except as stated in our Refund Policy)
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OURSTORIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OurStoria from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
