Frequently asked

What happens when the archive subscription expires?
You get a 14-day grace period after expiry to renew. During this time, the gallery remains accessible. If not renewed within 14 days, the project data is permanently deleted from our servers.
Can I unarchive a project?
Yes. You can move a project back to active status at any time, as long as you have enough storage quota on your current subscription plan.
Does my client lose access when I archive?
No. The gallery URL stays active and your client can still download their videos and photos. The only change is that in-browser streaming is disabled — they'll download the original files instead.
What's the maximum project size for archive?
Standard tier supports projects up to 30 GB. Plus tier supports up to 60 GB. If your project exceeds 60 GB, you'll need to reduce its size before archiving.
Do I need an active subscription to keep my archives?
No. Safe Archive is billed separately from your Starter, Pro, or Studio subscription. Even if you cancel or downgrade your main plan, all paid archives remain fully accessible to your clients for downloads. The archive has its own annual billing cycle — as long as it's paid, the gallery stays live.
Can I archive multiple projects?
Yes. Each project is archived and billed independently. You can have any number of archived projects — each one has its own annual renewal cycle.
Is Safe Archive available during the Free Pro Trial?
Safe Archive is available to any user with a paid plan (Starter, Pro, or Studio). During the Free Pro Trial you cannot archive projects, but you can do so immediately after subscribing to any paid plan.
